The Vision
St James Garlickhythe is a historic Wren church in the heart of the City of London that welcomes thousands of visitors and tourists every year. We are building a dedicated app to give guided tours to the large number of tourists who come through the doors, to welcome and introduce new visitors to the church and its services, and to bring in more supporters for the church. A digital companion for everyone who steps inside — visitor, neighbour, or future member of the congregation.
What's Coming
The app will offer self-guided tours for visitors and tourists, an introduction to the church's history and heritage, and a warm welcome to new visitors pointing them towards regular services and community life. It will also make it easy to support the church's work through donations and become a regular supporter. The parish community stays connected throughout the week with service times, the order of service, parish news, and easy access to contact the vicar or church office.
